Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use Local Community, whatever device, eyesight or ability.
What we do
- Large tap targets and clear text, with good contrast.
- Everything works with a keyboard, and pop-ups close with Escape.
- Buttons, tick boxes and messages are labelled for screen readers.
- Works at any text size your phone or browser is set to, and on phones, tablets and computers.
- Mum's page is designed for one large button and very little reading.
Known gaps
Photos posted by neighbours don't yet have descriptions. We're working on it.
